September 30, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – The Richland County Recreation Foundation received a generous donation from the Ray Tanner Foundation totaling over $4,000. The first charitable contribution will support 40 youth from the towns of Eastover and Hopkins to participate in our Shinkickers Soccer and Shortstop T-Ball sport programs at no cost. The second charitable contribution will give the Adaptive Recreation Department an opportunity to award five scholarships for disabled youth to attend Camp Sunshine for eight weeks during the summer. We appreciate the Ray Tanner Foundation for choosing us to continue our mission to enrich lives and connect communities.
