September 11, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Fisher & Phillips LLP announced the addition of attorney Christina L. Rogers to its Columbia office. She joined the firm on August 31.

Rogers represents employers in a variety of labor and employment matters. Previously, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., Senior U.S. District Judge for the District of South Carolina.

“Christina is a welcome addition to our office and brings with her a unique set of skills,” said Stephen Mitchell, managing partner of the Columbia office of Fisher & Phillips. “Her litigation experience will be particularly helpful to our clients.”

Before attending law school, Rogers was a litigation paralegal for eight years. In that capacity, she worked on a variety of cases in both state and federal court, assisting with many depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

While attending the University of South Carolina School of Law, Rogers was a member of the Mock Trial Bar and was selected as a member of the national competition team. As a result of her advocacy skills, she was awarded the Sherod H. Eadon Scholarship and also served as Chief Justice of the Mock Trial Bar. In her third year, Christy was selected to be a student member the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, which fosters excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills.

She also received CALI Awards in Civil Litigation Capstone and Writing in Law Practice. At graduation, Rogers was the recipient of the prestigious Compleat Lawyer Award. She earned her undergraduate degree from Clemson University.
