Kairos Development, a Greenville, S.C.-based real estate developer, announces multiple leases at a project in Greenville’s Augusta Road corridor. Conveniently located at Augusta Road and I-85, Augusta General, the multi-tenant center formerly home to Mrs. Firecrackers, began undergoing major renovations in April 2017. To commemorate, a ribbon cutting is being held Nov. 3, 2017 at noon.

“We are excited to welcome Equilibrium Zen Gym and Gaston Security Group, an authorized ADT dealer, into their new locations at Augusta General,” said Josh Tew, project principal. “We are proud to partner with these local businesses as we renovate a blighted property and contribute toward the revitalization of the South Augusta corridor.”

“Revitalizing this iconic property required collaboration among many parties with differing interests. I would like to thank Jamie Wilson, the property’s previous owner, our current tenants, and County partners in planning and development. The community support has been tremendous throughout the process,” said Paul Halphen, managing partner of Kairos Development. “We are humbly appreciative of the confidence that George, Ingrid, and Isaac have placed in Kairos Development to be partners in this process,” Halphen said.

“The Augusta General redevelopment provides proof of concept and will give more companies the confidence to invest in the South Augusta Road area,” stated Greenville County Councilman Ennis Fant.

Formerly located on West Antrim Drive, Equilibrium Zen Gym offers clients a fresh approach to health and wellness and currently occupies 3,000 SF of the updated property. Gaston Security Group, an Authorized ADT dealer serving the Upstate, will be begin its occupancy later this week with plans to eventually occupy 2,500 SF of the development.
