September 12, 2016

CBRE announced that Christina Gridley, Senior Marketing Specialist, has been recognized as one of Greenville Business Magazine’s “Best and Brightest Under 35” for 2016. The honor was given to young leaders in the Upstate making an impact in their community and workplaces.

From CBRE’s downtown Greenville location, she is responsible for the oversight of corporate marketing, branding, public relations, social media, advertising and business development at the local market level. In the past four years, she has become a member of the Southeastern Marketing Team for CBRE Americas Marketing and has assumed a leadership role for all marketing activities across the state of South Carolina with a focus on business development.

“Christina’s energy is infectious – she is creative and authentic. She embodies the CBRE RISE values of Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence by always going above and beyond to deliver exemplary service to our clients and community,” said Steve Smith, Managing Director of South Carolina. “Christina is a vital member of our team in the Upstate and across South Carolina, and has quickly emerged as a leader in our business development pursuits.”

Gridley moved to the Upstate in 2010 and has been an active member of the community through volunteering her time and leveraging her skillset on behalf of local non-profits. She has participated in the Greenville Chamber’s LEAD initiative PULSE since 2011 and served on the 2013 Pulse Advisory Council as Connects Committee Chair, where she oversaw the programming of volunteering events, outreach and arts programming.

She has volunteered her time with the United Way, Goodwill, Hope Academy, The Family Effect, Project Host, City of Greenville, Gideon’s House, American Lung Association, Ronald McDonald House, Sterling Land Trust, Greenville Rec, Kiwanis Main Street Young Professionals, Special Olympics and Hands on Greenville.

“The Greenville community makes it easy to get involved and the rewards are endless,” said Gridley. “I have been impacted significantly by the people I have served and developed perspectives that I am able to leverage in the workplace.”

Gridley is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and prior to joining CBRE, she worked for Buffets, Inc. in Greer, South Carolina, and SEI Group in Atlanta, Georgia.
