Toyota of Greer reveals $1.25 million renovation

Toyota of Greer unveiled the results of a $1.25 million renovation Thursday that includes an expanded service area, a new customer lounge, a larger lot area and a new VIP entrance.
The revamping of the dealership on Wade Hampton Boulevard signifies the company’s commitment to Greer as well as the rest of the Upstate, said Bob Hogan, one of the owners of Toyota of Greer. This is the first major renovation to the dealership, which opened in October 2003.
“This helps us meet the growing needs of our team as well as creates a greater customer experience,” Hogan said. “Everything about this was designed to enhance the car shopping experience and make it like nothing else in the region.”
The visitor’s lounge now features updated, relaxed seating, massage chairs flat-screen televisions, Wi-Fi service and complimentary coffee and snacks while guests wait, he said. The renovation took about nine months and was done by two local companies, Hogan Construction and Henderson Construction.
Mayor Rick Danner said this was a great event for the City of Greer.
“Investment in the City is always a great thing,” he said. “But to have it from a partner like Toyota of Greer is significant. They have supported a lot of community initiatives over the years and we are honored to have them doubling down on Greer.”
As part of the event, Craig Pollock, group vice president for Southeast Toyota Distributors, which distributes Toyota vehicles to 176 dealers throughout the southeast, presented a Katana Sword to Toyota of Greer.
