Jamie C. Adams recognized as a Premier 100 Technology Leader by IDG’s Computerworld

TRAVELERS REST, SC – The Cliffs, a collection of seven real estate development and luxury lifestyle communities, announced that Jamie C. Adams, Chief Information Officer, has been named a 2016 Computerworld Premier 100 Technology Leader by IDG’s Computerworld. This year’s Premier 100 spotlights 100 leaders from both the technology and business sides of companies for their exceptional technology leadership and innovative approaches to business challenges.

“We recognized the opportunities with technology and how imperative it was to stay up-to-date in its ever-changing environment, but Jamie has helped us to see the true value of technology solutions that directly impact profitability and the customer’s experience. Jamie is a transformational leader with a strategic focus, and this award is a testament to that. We are very proud to have her as a Premier 100 Technology Leader,” said David Sawyer, Managing Partner of The Cliffs Clubs.

Adams joined The Cliffs in 2013 as the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for the technology vision and strategy for the company. Her top priority has been refocusing IT on the most profitable areas of the business, and building an A-team with the skill sets to move the company forward and sustain growth. In her short time at The Cliffs, Adams and her team have transformed the customers’ digital experience, promoted a service-first and data-driven culture, and implemented a cost-effective and sustainable infrastructure.

“I am truly honored and humbled by this award and share this recognition with the talented individuals I work with daily. I thank the executive team for their dedication to innovative, transformative technology and their support and encouragement over the past two years. We have built a technology foundation upon which we will continue to thrive.”

The 2016 honorees will be officially recognized on March 23, 2016 during the AGEND16 Conference in Amelia Island, FL., and will be featured in the March 2016 special issue of Computerworld’s Digital Magazine. The article will highlight the accomplishments of the honoree and how they have used technology to have a positive impact on their organization.

About the Premier 100 Technology Leadership Awards

The Premier 100 program was created in 2000 to spotlight individuals who have had a positive impact on their organizations through technology. These are individuals who manage internal IT organizations, mentor and motivate their IT teams and business colleagues, create a positive work environment, envision innovative solutions to business challenges and effectively manage and execute IT strategies. Each year, nominees are invited to complete a questionnaire that addresses a number of topics, including their background and experience and their attitude toward risk and innovation. Using Computerworld’s IT Leader Index, which is a measurement of how closely an individual matches our definition of the IT Leader, we analyze the data. Each year, 100 honorees are selected to receive this life-time recognition award. Information on previous honorees can be viewed at:www.computerworld.com/s/article/9065479/Premier_100_IT_Leaders
