“At BASF, we believe in supporting those who help our community stay safe,” said Will Teasdale, Site Manager for BASF in Seneca. “These agencies serve more than a basic need in the community and often put themselves at risk to save lives. We appreciate all that they do.”

The BASF facility makes specialty chemical catalysts and precious metal salts and solutions that are used by customers to produce a wide variety of products, including herbicides, plastics, pharmaceuticals, auto emission catalysts, fragrances and fertilizers. They also produce water-treatment products for the removal of lead, arsenic, and other impurities from drinking water.
