In January of 2017, the Midlands Business Leadership Group presented the family of South Carolina business legend, Cathy Novinger, with a concept rendering of a Girl Scout Leadership Center. It was a building that would be located in the heart of the state capital and accompanied by these words:
In tribute to Cathy Novinger for her leadership and commitment to our community. Presented to the Novinger family by MBLG.
In January 2019, we are several months away from the ribbon cutting of a building that will have a major “impact on future generations of leadership in this state.”
The building will offer:

- Business education center
