Global Fluency: Cross-Cultural Communication for Business Half-Day Training Workshop – October 23
October 11, 2018
Expert Panel Discussion and Networking Reception.
Develop strong and effective cross-cultural business skills with a focus on navigating the differences between China and Japan, as well as Germany and France. The current global economy calls for employees to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to communicate better in any global setting: learn how to market in an appropriate context; negotiate and not alienate; forge trust and build relationships. The World Affairs Council Upstate invites you to a half-day training workshop on Tuesday, October 23, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Clemson One Building, One North Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Brad Gosche, Senior Director of the Global Fluency Institute in Columbus, OH will lead the workshop.
.
Following the workshop, the afternoon panel discussion, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, will shed light on the dos and don’ts of global business dealings as our expert panelists share their experiences and professional insight. Join Pete Selleck, retired President and CEO of Michelin North America, Bonnie Sun, VP Strategy and Compliance of Greenfield Industries, Ralph Heredia, VP Business Development of Zipit Wireless, and our moderator, Jason Zacher, Executive Director of Upstate Chamber Coalition for an interesting and interactive discussion. You will come away with a better understanding of why global fluency matters in the workplace and how you and your employees can become more globally fluent. Meet our panelists, join our sponsor, Upstate SC Alliance, and network at the reception immediately following the panel at 4:00 pm.
