Spartanburg Water announces new hire in Industrial Pretreatment Program

Spartanburg Water announced the employment of Gwendolyn Sullivan in the position of Compliance Specialist for the Compliance Section of the organization.  In her new role Gwen will be conducting inspections, auditing and permitting industrial users to ensure compliance with the various rules and regulations associated the Industrial Pretreatment Program.

Ms. Sullivan was previously employed by South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC).  Ms. Sullivan has over 20 years’ experience with SCDHEC working in various capacities within the Bureau of Water in the area of drinking and recreational waters.  She has also worked within SCDHEC’s underground storage tank compliance program.  Ms. Sullivan holds a B.S. degree from South Carolina State University in Electrical Engineering Technology.
