Spartanburg Water welcomes new Engineering Projects Manager

Spartanburg Water announced the new hire of Steven A. Robertson, P.E., to the position of Engineering Projects Manager II.

In his new role, Steven Robertson will manage water and sewer developer projects, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, standards and regulations. He will further serve to perform responsible technical duties needed to manage water distribution and sewer collection system capital projects, process engineering, and system maintenance within the water and sewer facilities.

Steven Robertson has more than 15 years of experience in water and wastewater systems, including design of distribution systems, collection systems, and pump stations. As a registered Professional Engineer in both South Carolina, and Virginia, Steven Robertson has extensive experience in bid and construction phase services including project management as well as technical engineering reports, permitting, environmental assessments and specification development. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
