Piedmont Women’s Center hosted its fourth annual 5k Race for Life

Piedmont Women’s Center (PWC) hosted its fourth annual 5k Race for Life. The Varghese Group | Real Estate and Auction Services at Keller Williams Historic District was the presenting sponsor. The 2017 Race for Life took place at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest. The race activities included a one-mile “Fun Run” at 8:00am for children ten years old and under with the annual 5k run/walk beginning at 9:00am for adults. Proceeds from the race will benefit PWC’s ultrasound program and other ministry resources.
“Our annual Race for Life is one of Piedmont Women’s Center’s largest annual fundraisers and this year we are pleased to be using a portion of the race proceeds for our ultrasound program.” said Lenna Smith, CEO of PWC. “Each of our services is confidential and free of charge. Providing free ultrasounds is essential to our ability to properly care and minister to the needs of countless women across the Upstate.”
