South Carolina I-77 Alliance launches new data-centric website

September 13, 2017

The South Carolina I-77 Alliance has launched their new website, making it easier for industries and businesses to see why York, Chester, Fairfield and Richland counties are ideal for location or expansion.

The re-designed digital presence is a major mile marker for the non-profit, public-private regional partnership that was formed in 2014 to provide lead generation, branding and marketing for economic developers in the corridor between Columbia and Charlotte.

The website includes a county-by-county site locator, highlighting available sites, parks and buildings in the region; as well as features in-depth data on industry sectors, wages and income, infrastructure, and demographics. Users can also access extensive information on the numerous incentives available in South Carolina, as well as specific demographics for each of the four counties in the Region section.

“The detailed data and information featured in ‘Doing Business Here’ and ‘Living Here,’ along with our recently released I-77 Alliance Data Center, make the site both user-friendly and attractive for visitors interested in just an overview of the corridor or seeking to drill deep into the opportunities along the I-77 corridor,” said Christopher Finn, director of research and marketing.

“Our new web presence is a major step forward in communicating what a great opportunity the corridor between Columbia and Charlotte offers manufacturers and other businesses from here and around the world,” said Alliance President/CEO Rich Fletcher. “We’re confident that it will help attract investment and job creation.”
