Epting graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. He serves on the board of directors for the Kiwanis Club of Greenville and on the advisory board for Clement’s Kindness. Epting is a retired lieutenant colonel of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
