Greenville Country Club announces 2017 Board of Governors

GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Country Club elected its 2017 Board of Governors at its recent annual meeting of the club’s members. Officers serve a one-year term under the Club’s President John Reynolds. New At-Large Members of the Board serve a three-year term.

John Reynolds is currently a Vice President and Managing General Counsel with lead responsibility for Infrastructure, Mining, Industrial Services, Global Services (AMECO and TRS), Construction and Fabrication and Procurement areas of Fluor Corporation.  Mr. Reynolds also has the responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management and managing the Law Department in Fluor’s Greenville office.  He has been with Fluor Corporation for 31 years.  Mr. Reynolds is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration, a Juris Doctor and a Masters of Business Administration. He is a member of the Alabama and South Carolina State Bar Associations and of the International Association of Defense Counsel.

Reynolds will lead Greenville Country Club’s Board of Governors and will be supported by four additional officers:

  • Matthew Smith, Director at Elliott Davis Decosimo, serves as the Club’s Vice President;
  • Bo Russell, Partner with Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough LLP, serves as the Club’s Secretary; and
  • David Ellison, Certified Financial Planner and Wealth Management Advisor at Northwest Mutual Wealth Management Company, serves as the Club’s Treasurer.

Chris Riley will continue to serve on the Executive Committee and Board as Immediate Past President.
