Miracle on 34th Street Audition

August 22, 2016

The Greenville Little Theatre (GLT) is delighted to announce Miracle on 34th Street Auditions! Auditions for this beloved holiday musical will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Magill Rehearsal Hall (located at the rear of the building). Callback readings will be held Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Roles are available for 12 men, 10 women, and 4 to 6 kids (ages 8 to 12). The role of Kris Kringle has been cast.

Miracle on 34th Street is a great show for actors who sing and singers who act, and there are lots of terrific character roles for men and women. In addition, there are several important children’s roles, and it’s a good opportunity for parents and kids to do a play together.

Be prepared to sing a verse of a song, and bring sheet music with you. The 1994 film is a good reference for the story.

Miracle on 34th Street will be co-directed by GLT Producing Director Suzanne McCalla and Artistic Director Allen McCalla. Tim St. Clair II will serve as Musical Director and Kimberlee Ferreira will choreograph.

Rehearsals will begin October 3, 2016. Performances run December 8 – 18.
