SynTerra announces new Principals

GREENVILLE, SC – SynTerra’s Board of Directors elected Andrea Kehn,  C. W. Hutchinson, Chris Stapleton, and Jerry Wylie as Principals of the firm.  They also elected Vick Crowley as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms Kehn is a registered professional engineer with 27 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing and consulting industries including the last ten years with SynTerra.

Andrea serves as the manager of the Process & Compliance group within SynTerra providing administrative management for staff professionals as well as managing compliance projects for a variety of industrial clients.   She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Mr. Hutchinson is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in GA, NC, AL, and UT with over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering discipline, involving: site development, water distribution, wastewater collection, storm water management, industrial site improvements, and industrial/commercial roof evaluations.  His experience includes serving in the industrial, consulting, and public sectors.  In his industrial profession, Mr. Hutchinson served as a facilities engineer for a rocket motor manufacturer.  In his consulting profession, Mr. Hutchinson served as a design engineer, project manager, and construction oversight leader.  In his public sector roles, he served as City Engineer and/or Public Works Director for different cities in Georgia and Utah.

Ms. Stapleton is a SHRM-CP as well as a PHR with over 25 years of business operations and administrative management experience.   Chris serves as the Business Operations Group Leader where she primarily focuses on the health of the organization,  supervising all non technical office staff, HR, IT, marketing, accounting, and office operations.  Ms. Stapleton also serves on the Management Team and is the Assistant Secretary  to the Board of Directors.  Chris has also been very active with GSHRM as well as the South Carolina HR State Council.

Mr. Wylie is a registered professional geologist with 30 years of experience in the environmental engineering/consulting industry including the last seven years with SynTerra. He serves as Project Manager and Senior Geologist and provides technical leadership for multidisciplinary projects primarily focused on groundwater contaminant assessment and remediation. Mr. Wylie also serves as the manager of the Hydrogeology group within SynTerra providing administrative management for staff professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University (Geology) and a Master of Science Degree from Auburn University (Geology). Mr. Wylie also serves as Professional Mentor for the Clemson University Chapter of Engineers Without Borders.

Mr. Crowley has over 20 years of corporate financial management experience in both public and private companies.  He has specific expertise in corporate strategy development, corporate finance, accounting, mergers & acquisitions, treasury, financial planning & analysis, and risk management.  In addition, Mr. Crowley has extensive international experience and has served in numerous executive financial leadership capacities in Europe.    Mr. Crowley is joining SynTerra from J&P Park Acquisitions, Inc. where he served as Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to J&P Park, Mr. Crowley served CFO roles with VIS, LLC and Q Tires, Inc.  Mr. Crowley earned an M.B.A from Emory University and a B.A. from Sewanee- The University of the South.
