Pacolet Milliken announces new executive

GREENVILLE, SC – Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. announced the addition of Brent Abbot as vice president of real estate and director of acquisitions. Abbot’s responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating and closing new investments, encompassing wholly-owned assets and joint ventures, across multiple asset classes and markets.

Prior to joining Pacolet Milliken, Abbot was vice president of finance for Forest City Ratner where he managed sourcing, structuring and negotiating capital market transactions, finance development and operating properties in New York City. During his tenure, he managed the financial aspects of the investment process for four ground-up development projects in the New York City Metropolitan area comprised of over $2.3 billion of costs, 1,260 residential units, 1.6 million square feet of retail space and 190,000 square feet of office space. He was also directly involved in over $2.2 billion of real estate capital market transactions spanning the residential, retail and office product types. Abbot received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University and his Masters of Business Administration from New York University.
