Established South Carolina firm expands into Upstate, adding fourth office
GREENVILLE, SC – McGregor & Company, LLP, one of South Carolina’s oldest accounting firms, expanded into the Upstate earlier this spring.
The company has settled into the Bank of America building, located at 101 North Main Street, Suite 1510, which will serve as the firm’s new office in Greenville. McGregor & Company now has more than 60 employees in its four South Carolina; McGregor’s three other locations are in Columbia, Orangeburg and Barnwell.
“We are thrilled to be part of downtown Greenville,” said McGregor & Company partner Lesley Kelly, CPA, formerly of the Columbia office. “We’ve served clients in the Upstate for many years, so having a physical presence here was a natural next step.”
With their prime location on the city’s thriving Main Street, the McGregor Greenville team sees only great things ahead.

Though they’ve arrived only recently, Kelly, Darver and the entire McGregor Greenville team envision becoming more than just people who work in their new home city.
“We expanded into Greenville to better service our existing clients in the area, and to further grow our business in this part of the state,” said Kelly. “Our team desires more than just to have an office here; we look forward to becoming Greenvillians who serve, lead and work alongside our clients and neighbors.”
McGregor’s accountants practice in the areas of audit and assurance, tax and small business consulting.
Within those practice areas, the team serves a variety of non-profit and healthcare organizations, as well as real estate companies, school districts, automotive dealerships, governmental entities, closely held family businesses and other commercial clients.

Lesley Kelly is a graduate of the University of South Carolina; she joined McGregor in 1999 and was admitted as a partner in 2007. Kelly is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of CPAs, which she currently serves on its Board of Directors.

Mr. Darver graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, and he has been with McGregor & Company for seven years.
