Bryan Stone Named 2015 South Carolina Economic Development Ambassador

SPARTANBURG, SC – Lockhart Power Company and Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. are pleased to announce that Bryan Stone, chief operating officer of Lockhart Power, has been named a 2015 South Carolina Economic Development Ambassador as part of the state’s annual Industry Appreciation Week. Forty-eight individuals from 46 counties were honored at a ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion on Thursday, April 2.

South Carolina’s people are what truly make our state one of the best places in the world to do business, and events like Thursday’s ceremony gives us the opportunity to recognize just some of the people that help make South Carolina so special,” said. Gov. Nikki Haley.
As part of Industry Appreciation Week, the state recognizes local leaders throughout South Carolina as ambassadors for economic development for their commitment to driving economic activity and development in their communities.
“We are proud of Bryan for his tremendous efforts for both Union County and the state of South Carolina,” said Rick Webel, president of Pacolet Milliken Enterprises. “Through his leadership at Lockhart Power, Bryan has overseen the development of several renewable energy projects which have brought both jobs and revenue to Union County, reinvested more than one million dollars in utility tax credits back into the county, and worked closely with the county’s economic development team to bring new business to the area. His efforts have a positive impact in Union and beyond, and we congratulate him on his continued successes.”
