SynTerra Announces New Hires

GREENVILLE, SC – SynTerra welcomes John Haramut as a Senior Geologist.  John holds BS and MS degrees in Geology from the University of South Carolina.

John’s 25 years of professional consulting experience have involved the characterization and remediation of contaminated sites for government and industry across North America and Puerto Rico.  He specializes in managing multi-discipline project teams, working on complex and technically challenging contaminated sites to find solutions for legacy environmental problems that are economically sustainable and protective of human health and the environment.

SynTerra welcomes Wayne LaPierre as a Senior Health & Safety Specialist.  Wayne holds a BA degree in Business Management from the Marine Corps Extension School in Quantico, Virginia.

Wayne specializes in EH&S compliance, guidance, and management, including implementing the ISO 14001 program in three separate facilities with excellent results. Wayne has been a lead auditor for ISO14001 since 2000 and certified by “DNV”.  He has managed title V air permits as well as waste water treatment facilities.  Wayne has implemented all required OSHA/DEP programs with very favorable results.

Regina Graziano joins as a Hydrogeologist.  Regina holds a BS degree in Geosciences from the University of Connecticut and will attain her MS degree in Hydrogeology from Clemson University December, 2014.

Her experience includes assessing petroleum hydrocarbons;  characterizing air quality under the Asbestos NESHAP; and working for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in the Site Assessment and Support Unit under the Leaky Underground Storage Tank Program.  Regina specializes in groundwater modeling with MODFLOW, MT3DMS and RT3D; environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, environmental field work, and emergency spill response.

SynTerra welcomes Nick Davisas a Civil Engineering staff professional.  Nickholds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.

Nick specializes in erosion and sediment control, deep foundation evaluation, reinforced concrete evaluation, and construction materials testing.
