Attorney Steve Farrar Elected to DRI Board of Directors
October 21, 2014GREENVILLE, SC – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce that attorney Steve Farrar, who was recently elected as the president-elect of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), has been appointed to the board of directors of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) organization.
The DRI is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation. Farrar will serve a three year term on the DRI Board.
The FDCC is an international legal organization founded to further the principles of knowledge, justice and fellowship and membership is limited to select attorneys who have displayed achievement in their field and leadership in the practice of law. As president-elect of the federation, in addition to supporting the missions of the FDCC and its current president, Farrar will travel extensively as an ambassador for the organization and civil defense attorneys to help promote the fundamentals of the federation. He will transition to FDCC president in August, 2015 and complete his service as Chairman of the FDCC Board beginning in August, 2016.
