Meals on Wheels of Greenville delivers a hot meal Monday through Friday to nearly 1,500 homebound residents of Greenville County who have no means to prepare a nutritious meal for themselves and little or no support system to help them on a daily basis.
- They have over 2,000 volunteers, but could use more. Many routes are not being serviced.
- They are 100% privately funded.
- The volunteer’s personal interaction with the clients is as much a part of the service as is the meal.
