SC Student Selected as Regional Finalist in 2014 Google Science Fair Competition

GREENVILLE, SC – After much deliberation, the Google Science Fair team of judges has selected the regional finalists for the 2014 competition. One of the finalists is Keith Coffman a 17 year old from Greenville, SC.
His project is the Superconducting Levitation and Propulsion Control System, a control system that utilizes the restoring force of superconductors to control propulsion of maglev vehicles in addition to the levitation for which they are already used. Keith’s project has also been selected as a finalist for the Computer Science Award.
Keith’s project was selected from thousands of submissions from more than 120 countries around the world to move on to the next round of judging.
