Lancaster SC Kicks-Off Ag+Art Tour on June 20th

LANCASTER, SC – Lancaster will kick-off this weekend’s free self-guided tour of farms & artisans with a downtown arts crawl and live music event. From 5-7pm, a free arts crawl of studios, galleries, shops, and café’s will entertain visitors with special exhibits, demonstrations, refreshments, music, art sales, and more in the Historic Downtown of Lancaster, SC.
Participants include Bob Doster’s Backstreet Studio, Chastain’s Studio Lofts, Gallery 102, Tom & Sherry’s Ice Cream, Café Taylor, The Native American Studies Center, Red Rose Park Sculpture Exhibition, Lancaster County Council of Arts’ Springs House Galleries, Gus’ Family Pizza Restaurant, and the BBQ Station & Catering Company.
Beginning at 7pm Lancaster Performing Arts is hosting an indoor music party with the Java Band, Benford Brewing Company, and dancing located at 212 South Main Street. Tickets for the Java Band performance are $10 per person and can purchased in advance at www.lancastercitysc.com/performingarts.
The kick-off ushers in the Ag+Art Tour of Lancaster County, a county-wide free tour of farms, markets, artist studios, and other points of interest.
