EDTS Grows Team, Adds Three New Professionals
June 9, 2014COLUMBIA, SC -Rapidly growing IT firm EDTS is deepening its talent pool once again.
The nationally respected IT firm, which specializes in providing managed IT services, network security, and advanced infrastructure solutions to Southeastern businesses, has announced the addition of Clarence Abrams, Jr. as a support engineer, Matt Schubeck as a network engineer, and Tina Biddle as billing assistant.
A native of Augusta, Georgia and current resident of Hephzibah, Mr. Abrams has more than 12 years of experience in end-user support and IT networking prior to joining EDTS. Formerly in information technology roles with Electrolux North America and aerospace and defense contractor ITT Exelis, he holds numerous IT certifications including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), along with Security+, Server+ and ITIL v3 Foundations accreditations. Mr. Abrams holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Savannah (GA) River College.
Mr. Schubeck joins EDTS with over two decades of experience in information technology support, compliance, security and virtualization primarily in the governmental and healthcare arenas. A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, he joins EDTS from Unified Network Group and holds Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified Novell Administrator (CAN), MCSA, Network+ and A+ certifications, among others. He holds a B.S. degree in Business from Coastal Carolina University.
Evans, Georgia resident Tina Biddle joins the accounting and customer service team as a billing assistant. The Cincinnati, Ohio native adds nearly five years of professional experience in office administration and customer service to the EDTS team.
In their respective roles, both Mr. Abrams and Mr. Schubeck will help ensure that critical IT systems are available, optimized, and secure, while assisting EDTS customers in increasing team productivity and reducing cost associated with information technology. They will operate across the firm’s Augusta, Columbia and Greenville office footprints. Ms. Biddle will be based out of the company’s Augusta office.
