ReWa Employee Receives Honor as Operator of the Year

GREENVILLE, SC – April 4, 2014 – A Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) employee received an honor from the Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC) at the 2014 South Carolina Environmental Conference in Myrtle Beach.

Dana Green, facility operator at ReWa’s Georges Creek/ Marietta facilities received the WEASC Operator of the Year Award at the South Carolina Environmental Conference. The award is given annually to a water or wastewater treatment plant operator for excellent achievement in the direct operation of a water or wastewater treatment system in South Carolina.

“I am astounded by the professionalism and knowledge that Green demonstrates every day on the job. He has always taken the lead and done exceptional work, and he has always been willing to help in any way possible. Green is a pleasure to work with and I am thankful to have him as a part of my team at Georges Creek and Marietta facilities,” said Chris Elliott, foreman at ReWa’s Georges Creek Facilities.
