Thirteen players sign with The College All Star Bowl

GREENVILLE, SC – December 13, 2013 – Thirteen more players will be taking the field on February 14th at Paladin Stadium on the Furman University campus for the 2014 College All Star Bowl.
This group of players joins 34 who signed already to make 47 players to date. More players for the two 50-man rosters will be announced soon. The 13 players who signed in the past few days are:

The College All Star Bowl will air nationwide on the CBS Sports Network on February 14 for a 6 p.m. kickoff at Furman University’s Paladin Stadium. The game gives special focus to players entering the NFL Draft, creating an opportunity for football players nationwide, including South Carolina. The game also gives the assistant coaches an opportunity to be hired for coaching positions in the NFL as well as universities and other leagues.
The College All Star Bowl will feature the Nationals led by South Carolina College Football Hall of Famer and Clemson’s National Championship Coach Danny Ford along with his assistant coaches including former NFL and collegiate greats Brian Dawkins, Nick Eason and Patrick Sapp.
The Americans are led by South Carolina College Football Hall of Famer and legendary SC State Coach Willie Jeffries and his assistant coaches including former NFL and collegiate greats Woody Dantzler, Dwayne Harper, Charlie Brown and Marco Coleman, among others. Players accepting invites will be categorized in a player pool and then drafted by either the Americans or Nationals.
The College All Star Bowl will feature open practices for fans, autograph sessions, skills clinics and a scouting combine for athletes to test for NFL scouts. Learn more at www.thecollegeallstarbowl.com.
