The Year of Altruism (YOA) is a brand new non-profit organization with an amazing mission that has swept the Greenville community within the past couple of months. YOA already has more than 40 local groups within Greenville County that have committed to participate in the Year of Altruism, which will begin in August 2013 and run through June 2014 with signature events, educational and cultural programming, and interfaith and interracial collaborations and cross-promotions.
