Patti Raines, Executive Director, Camp Opportunity

Camp Opportunity is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing supportive services to children in Greenville County, South Carolina.  The children that we serve have current and ongoing cases within the Department of Social Services and many are in foster care.

While they are in DSS custody, many children are removed from their homes, schools, and families and are placed into the home of a foster family.
Camp Opportunity serves as a constant, enriching, and supportive part of their lives in an otherwise uncertain time.

Children ages 6-13 are invited to participate in Camp Opportunity programs ranging from Summer Camp Week to rafting trips to the Shared Blessings Christmas gifting program.  It is our hope that their time of uncertainty and struggle can be improved through the programs provided by Camp Opportunity.
