Joel Jones Joins Renewable Water Resources as Pretreatment Program Manager

GREENVILLE, SC – November 27, 2012 – Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) welcomes Joel H. Jones of Dacusville, SC, as its new Pretreatment Program Manager. In this position, Jones manages the staff, programs and activities associated with pretreatment programs, which includes regulation and customer service activities for various industrial, commercial and food service clients. Jones’ new position also requires him to ensure protection of the treatment facilities, facilitate compliance with applicable regulations and promote viability of ReWa’s regulated customers.

Jones obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries biology from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Management from Southern Wesleyan University.
After obtaining his B.S. from Clemson, he began his career with ReWa in August 1993 as an Operator Trainee. He spent nine and a half years gaining experience in the laboratory, pretreatment and operations departments and was named the West Operations Manager. In March 2003, Jones accepted a position at Spartanburg Water as the Reclaimed Water Treatment Manager, where he had technical, operational and regulatory responsibility for the Reclaimed Water Treatment facilities and associated programs. His nine and a half years at Spartanburg Water allowed him to gain a great deal of technical, regulatory and financial experience, in addition to the opportunity to attain his Masters degree.
