March 26, 2012HOUSTON, TX – March 26, 2012 – Wood Group Mustang recently appointed Bill Vicary to the management team position of director of business development for the Industrial segment of the Process Plants and Industrial business unit.
Located in the Greenville, South Carolina office, Vicary leads the development and implementation of strategies to grow and diversify Wood Group Mustang’s industrial business, which provides engineering, procurement and construction management services to the automotive, aerospace, pulp and paper, renewable energy, and general manufacturing industries. Vicary will also represent Wood Group Mustang’s Greenville-based Global Performance subsidiary, which has managed several of the largest capital programs in South Carolina’s history.
Bill is widely known and respected throughout the engineering and construction industry. He has led efforts that won projects around the world with renowned industrial and manufacturing companies, commented Bill Bryant, executive vice president of the Process Plants and Industrial business unit. Bill has an instinctive ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and we look forward to the contributions he will bring as we expand our global reach.
Vicary started his career as a packaging engineer and worked for General Motors, Mack Trucks and Fluor Daniel before he transitioned into business development and marketing roles at small to large architectural, engineering and construction firms across the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in packaging engineering from Michigan State University. Vicary is also an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and has served on several of its local and national boards and committees.
