Satterfield Elected To SC Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

GREENVILLE, SC – October 11, 2011 – Andy Satterfield, a partner in the Greenville, S.C. office of Jackson Lewis LLP, has been elected to serve on the 2011-12 board of directors of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is the state’s largest statewide broad-based business and industry trade association, representing more than 18,000 businesses and more than one million employees, with 90 percent of membership comprised of small businesses. As the unified voice for business and industry, the Chamber is a catalyst for increasing wealth and enhancing the state’s global competitiveness in order to improve the quality of life for all South Carolinians.

Mr. Satterfield has been a partner at Jackson Lewis since 2007 and has represented employers in the areas of labor and employment law for more than 23 years. He was recently named 2012 Greenville Litigation – Labor & Employment Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. He is also consistently recognized in the Chambers USA publication America’s Leading Lawyers for Business and Super Lawyers.

Mr. Satterfield received his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Georgia. He currently serves on the board of directors of Pendleton Place in Greenville and is immediate past chairman of the board of the Caine Halter YMCA in Greenville.
