Cargo Increases Talent Pool

GREENVILLE, SC – October 11, 2011 – Cargo (www.thinkcargo.com), an idea generation and brand engagement firm based in Greenville, S.C., announced today it has hired three new employees to serve an increasing amount of work from new and existing clients. The new employees are Alex Brannon, Pearson Suits and Kristen Taylor.

Tom Sloan, a principal partner at Cargo, said his agency benefits from the dynamic growth of its hometown and inclusion in recent rankings, such as Forbes’ “2011 Best Cities for Young Professionals.”

Cargo serves as agency of record for a number of national and global clients, such as Mercedes-Benz USA Sprinter, heavy equipment manufacturer JCB, and Healthstat, the nation’s largest provider of workplace health clinics.

Brannon is responsible for providing art direction and graphic design services for a variety of Cargo clients. Prior to joining Cargo he worked at a number of advertising and multimedia production agencies in Atlanta, including BBDO, West Wayne and Vehicle Media. Brannon has a degree in Art Direction from The Media Circus in Atlanta and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

Suits is responsible for providing website and interactive design and back-end programming. Prior to joining Cargo, he was employed at Suits Clamps, Inc. where he developed online desktop applications to track incoming and outgoing orders and other digital applications designed for encoding and decoding. Suits has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Taylor provides account management and media buying services for a number of Cargo clients. Prior to joining Cargo she was a media buyer at Infinity Marketing in Greenville and has additional experience as a marketing associate at Level One, a leading provider of outsourced contact solutions for multi-family housing units. She has a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Tampa.
