Spartanburg Day School 2011 SAT Scores Above Average

SPARTANBURG, SC – September 21, 2011 – Spartanburg Day School’s SAT scores were released and are above the national, state, and local averages. 

In 2011, 46 Spartanburg Day School junior and seniors took the college board scoring 565 in Critical Reading, 580 in Math, and 558 in Writing giving a composite average of 1,703. 

These scores compare to the recently released average composite scores for all South Carolina seniors of 1,436, a 267 point difference. 

The National average score for students is 1,500.  A perfect score on the college entrance exam is 2,400.
