Crawford Strategy Continues Job Creation, Adds Account Executive, Three Interns

GREENVILLE, SC – May 31, 2011 – Crawford Strategy has hired a junior account executive and added three interns to its growing team.
Virginia Offerle joins the Greenville-based strategic solutions company from Clemson University, where she graduated with a degree in communication studies. The Greenville native minored in journalism and bolstered her academic credentials with a communications internship at the Clemson University Outdoor Lab. During her final semester at Clemson, Offerle was an intern with Crawford Strategy. At Crawford, Offerle will work primarily in marketing, with an emphasis in health care.

She proved herself to be professional, efficient and hard-working, and we are excited to add her to our permanent team.”
The latest students to enter the Crawford Strategy intern program are David Hottel, Elizabeth Matthews and Sydney Simmons.
Hottel is a recent graduate of Furman University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. Originally from Oak Island, N.C., he has a year’s experience with Furman University Marketing and Public Relations and will work primarily with the Crawford Strategy media relations department.
Matthews is a native of Greenville and a senior at Clemson University studying parks, recreation, and tourism management. She previously held internships with McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, Studio One Salon and Lake Hartwell Marketing Alliance. Matthews will work closely with the marketing team.
Simmons hails from Laurens and is a senior at Clemson University majoring in parks, recreation, and tourism management. She has previously interned with the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce and more recently as an event assistant for Hob Nob Event Planners. Simmons will be focusing her efforts in public relations and event planning.
