Engenius partners with other local businesses to offer high-tech summer internships

GREENVILLE, SC – March 7, 2011 – Engenius is proud to join with local high-growth businesses through NEXT to offer significant work experience through internships to high school and college students this summer. “Experiencing on-the-job training is key for young people looking to develop their skills and seek employment in a job market like we see today,” said Chris Manley, Managing Partner.
Engenius is working with NEXT, an Upstate consortium of high-tech companies, to offer internships as a way of showing youth and area college students the potential for technology-focused careers right here in the greater Greenville area.
A variety of high-tech positions will be featured in the program. Interested high school or college students can view positions online at www.interngreenville.com. Applications must be submitted by April 1 and interviews will take place on April 11. Some positions are exclusive to the technology field, but many are other business skills such as marketing and event planning.
Manley continued, “We’re excited to have youthful enthusiasm with us this summer, as well as experience how great it is to work in this region.”
