Free SCORE class at Tri-County Technical College Pendleton Campus

PENDLETON, SC – A small business start-up class, “Simple Steps to Start Your Own Business,” will be offered at the Tri-County Technical College Pendleton Campus Thursday, February 24, from 6 – 9 p.m. in the Industrial and Business Development Center. There is no charge for the class.
The class is sponsored by SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), Tri-County Technical College and the chambers of commerce in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties. Topics will be discussed to allow students to evaluate their ideas for business and to assess their viability. In addition, students will learn some of the key aspects of preparing to own and manage their own businesses.
This class is taught by SCORE counselors. SCORE Counselors to America’s Small Business is a non-profit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and to helping small business start, grow and succeed. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
