Patrick Thomasson, CPA Joins Scott and Company LLP

GREENVILLE, SC – January 19, 2011 – Patrick Thomasson, CPA has joined the staff of Scott and Company LLP as Upstate Manager, Assurance and Advisory Services in our Greenville office. Patrick graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management with a concentration in Corporate Accounting. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Patrick now resides in Greenville, SC and has lived there since 2005. Patrick is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of South Carolina. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA) and Greenville’s Professionals United for Leadership and Social Enrichment (PULSE).
Patrick has experience in real estate, manufacturing, higher education, financial services, and not-for-profits among various other industries. He specialized in audits of financial statements and internal controls over financial reporting for both private and public companies. Patrick also has experience with SEC registration document filings for initial public offerings.
