Erwin-Penland Promotes One, Hires One

GREENVILLE, SC – September 24, 2010 – Erwin-Penland (EP), a division of The Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday and one of the five largest advertising and marketing firms in the Southeast, has promoted Karen Mawhinney to account director and hired Meredith Krueger.

Mawhinney has been promoted from management supervisor, continuing her work on agency accounts including Denny’s, Uniroyal, ScanSource, Upstate SC Alliance and Lockheed Martin.  She celebrates five years at EP and is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a concentration in advertising.

Krueger joins EP after working as a graphics imaging technologist at Cryovac in Simpsonville, S.C.  As lead production manager, she will be responsible for coordination and quality control of print production for the agency’s Verizon shopper marketing team.  She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in industrial education with an emphasis in graphic communications from Clemson University.
