Harvest Hope Food Bank elects first female Chair

Bank of America Assistant Vice President Erinn Rowe of Columbia will serve as the first female board chair for Harvest Hope Food Bank.  Rowe, a treasury sales analyst, works with companies ranging in annual revenue from $5 million to $2 billion. She has served on the Harvest Hope board since 2016.

“Erinn’s financial background and passion for helping people in need make her a phenomenal fit for leading our Harvest Hope board,” said Davis Bourne, immediate past chair of the Harvest Hope board. “What’s more, we recognize this election comes on the eve of International Women’s Day which our country has celebrated for more than 100 years.”

Joining Erinn on the board are three new board members: Catherine Brazell of Bank of America, Jada Willis of Willis HR and Sam Johnson of Nexsen Pruet.

“We are fortunate to attract such successful individuals to join our board,” said Rowe.  “All three have different backgrounds, yet are all passionate about Harvest Hope’s mission of serving people in need.”

In addition to the appointment of these three board members, Harvest Hope elected new executive committee members to include:

  • John Welsh, First Citizens Bank – Treasurer
  • Mark Bokesch, Bokesch & Tipton LLC – Secretary
  • Rush Smith, Nelson Mullins, Riley & Scarborough – Governance
  • Gary Jones, Hawthorne Pharmacy – Audit
  • Rhonda Mauldin, Food Lion – Governance
