Retired Army Ranger and decorated veteran joins Boyer Construction

Boyer Commercial Construction, Inc. announced that MSG (Ret.) Jesse Yandell joined Boyer Construction as a Project Site Superintendent.  Yandell retired after serving 20+ years in the Army.

“Jesse is an incredibly gifted leader who represents the best of our nation’s military veterans.  We are excited to bring his leadership skills developed in the special operations community to our team, which will ultimately add incredible value to our customer.  Veterans like him make our entire team and community better and we will be forever grateful for the sacrifices Jesse and his family made serving our country.”

Yandell spent most of his military career in the 75th Ranger Regiment – a light infantry airborne special operations force that is part of the United States Army Special Operations Command – earning six Bronze Stars, one of which was Valorous.  Jesse served in every leadership position from Team Leader to Company First Sergeant, where he deployed 15 times in combat operations throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.  In 2008 Yandell was severely wounded in a firefight and awarded the Purple Heart.  After recovering from his injuries, Jesse continued his military service and returned to leadership positions in the Ranger Regiment and continued to lead Soldiers in combat.

For the past two years Jesse has been involved with leadership consulting and actively supports veteran organizations both locally and nationwide.
