The Saluda Shoals Foundation is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 gift from the Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation. The donation will help support the Park’s mission of   connecting people to nature through environmental education, outdoor recreation and cultural activities.  This year, the Foundation’s annual campaign also supports the universally inclusive playground project planned for Saluda Shoals Park.  This playground will be a sensory rich, developmentally appropriate, and fun play space for children and adults of all abilities.

“We are grateful to be a corporate partner at Saluda Shoals Park,” said Lou Kennedy, CEO of Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation. “Nephron works hard to provide resources that help people live healthier lifestyles, so we are happy to support organizations with the same mission. By donating to Saluda Shoals we are boosting economic development, and in turn are able to offer great Park benefits for our employees to enjoy!” As part of this partnership, Nephron employees will enjoy free access to Saluda Shoals Park during the month of October.
