Two Columbia based startups, REsimplifi and ZVerse each received major investments by SC Launch, an entrepreneurial platform that provides mentoring, grants and investments to qualified, South Carolina companies in the Advanced Materials/Manufacturing, Information Technology and Life Sciences industries.

REsimplifi is an end-to-end transaction management system built for commercial real estate agents and was started in 2015 by co-founders Henry Moore and David Collier. The $200,000 investment will be used to scale operations for support, development and marketing.

ZVERSE, founded by John Carrington, developed the first 3D Design on Demand platform enabling the world’s largest manufacturers to offer CAD modeling services to their customers who need part files designed or modified. The $300,000 investment will be used to accelerate the company’s growth in 2018. Both companies are dedicated to growing jobs in the region and hiring local talent.
