Colliers International’s Victor (Buddy) John represented the seller in the $2.6 million sale of Friarsgate Plaza. The approximately 67,810-square-foot neighborhood shopping center, located at 7949 Broad River Road in Irmo, SC, sold after an extensive property marketing campaign netted multiple offers within the first 30 days of being on the market, including two full-price offers.
Friarsgate Plaza is well located, about ten miles northwest of Columbia’s Central Business District and one mile south of I-26, in proximity to Columbiana Center and the Harbison retail hub. Built in 1981 and renovated in 1998, the center was previously anchored by a Bi-Lo grocery store which closed last year.
