Palmetto Heart Camden opens its doors June 20

Camden residents and others in surrounding communities have a new choice for cardiac care when Palmetto Heart Camden opens its doors Wednesday, June 20.
The Palmetto Heath-USC Medical Group practice is located at 1218 Roberts St. in Camden and will see patients on a referral basis, as well as walk-ins based on physician availability. The practice hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m-1 p.m. Fridays.
The medical staff includes Thomas Schultz, D.O.; Jennifer Feldman, M.D.; Guillermo Pineda, M.D.; Phil Reath, P.A.; Jodi Myers, N.P; and Sarah Slone, FN.P.
Palmetto Health-USC Cardiology is part of the Midlands region’s largest health care system that also includes Palmetto Health Heart Hospital – the state’s only freestanding hospital dedicated solely to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
The opening of the new practice is part of an effort to broaden specialty services into the Midlands’ rural communities.
