CPA Firm Bauknight Pietras & Stormer adds Glenn to leadership team

Bauknight Pietras & Stormer, P.A., (BPS) announced that R. Benjamin Glenn, CPA, a 13-year veteran with the firm, has been named a partner. BPS is one of the premier public accounting and consulting firms in the Southeast, serving leading businesses and individuals across the country.
Glenn is the lead tax professional on BPS’ Captive Insurance Team where he serves captive insurance companies and their parent corporations throughout the United States. He routinely consults on the formation of new captive insurance companies, helping to assess risk transfer and risk distribution matters key to the successful formation of a captive insurance enterprise. In addition, Glenn’s experience includes successfully defending captive insurance companies in IRS examinations and submitting private letter ruling requests to the IRS. He is highly sought after in the captive insurance and telecommunications industries as well as a resource for industry professionals who need expert tax advice.

A graduate of Louisiana State University, Glenn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, South Carolina Captive Insurance Association, and The Friendly Society Restored. He is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Columbia and former treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia.
