W.G. Sanders invites parents to learn more about new magnet program

January 30, 2018

For parents, it may never be too early to start thinking about their child’s future career.  Parents of Richland One middle school students are invited to attend information sessions to learn more about the new career magnet program that will start this fall at W. G. Sanders Middle School.

The information sessions will be held January 30 and February 6 at the Freddie E. Grace, Jr. Theatre on the campus of Sanders, 3455 Pine Belt Road. Both sessions start at 6 p.m.

The new Richland One Career Magnet program will provide students with the opportunity to learn about targeted careers and receive instruction in the subjects/classes that can prepare them for jobs in those fields. Students in the program also will meet and interact with members of the business community and local entrepreneurial experts.

Parents who would like more information about the sessions or the magnet program at Sanders should contact Principal Andrenna Smith at 738-7577 or at [email protected] .
