Jill Moylan, of Columbia, SC, has been elected to serve on the Presbyterian College board of trustees. Moylan earned a bachelor’s degree in English from PC in 1984.

“I am honored and pleased to serve on PC’s Board of Trustees,” Moyland said. “PC played an important and cherished role in my education and in many other facets of my life.”

Moylan was involved with the yearbook, school paper, and literary magazine during her time at PC. She also worked in a work – study position in the dean’s office.

After graduating from PC, Moylan went on to earn a master’s degree in English from the University of South Carolina. She worked in administration at USC before starting Home Advantage Realty in 1992. She has served as the Columbia-based residential real estate company’s broker-in- charge ever since.

Moylan said that her undergraduate days at PC prepared her for success in her career.

“PC encourages a deep level of personal interaction – with fellow students, with professors, with administration, and with cafeteria and ground crew workers,” Moylan said. “These interactions have helped me to develop the ability to interact with people from all walks of life, to listen to their needs and to provide a personal level of attention that each client deserves.”

Moylan’s husband, John, also graduated from Presbyterian College in 1984. They have two adult children, four dogs, one rabbit, and a yard full of chickens.
