City Community Development Affordable Housing Loan Program

The City of Columbia Community Development Department is celebrating forty years of Building Communities and Transforming Lives. Community Development is offering an Affordable Housing Loan Program for a limited time only. The Affordable Housing Loan Program includes a maximum purchase price of $150,000, only $500.00 required down payment regardless of sales price, eligible properties are single family homes within the City of Columbia City limits, low interest rates, no primary mortgage insurance (PMI), applicants must receive homeownership training provided by the City, applicants cannot own any other improved property at the time of the closing and property must be owner-occupied as long as the City holds the mortgage.

Eligible borrowers are credit worthy buyers with a gross household income that are listed below.
